Agarwood is known by several names around the world, including Aloeswood, Eaglewood, Kyara, Ood and Ud, with terminology varying according to its grade and country of origin. Highly valued in natural perfumery, agarwood has a long history of traditional and ceremonial use and is often associated with contemplation and spiritual reflection.
Directions
Place the incense stick securely in a suitable incense holder or heat-resistant container filled with sand. Light the tip, allow it to catch, then gently blow out the flame and leave the incense to smoulder. Always place it on a stable, non-flammable surface that can safely catch falling ash. Burn in a well-ventilated area, noting that increased airflow may disperse the fragrance more quickly but can also cause the stick to burn faster.
