Sodium Benzoate is listed as a nasty in our pocket guide when used for food. But why then do we allow it in our cosmetics? The amount of sodium benzoate used in cosmetics is much smaller than in food as a preservative. Furthermore, the molecules are too large to be absorbed by the skin. This preservative has been allowed by Ecocert; the Soil Association and BDIH. It has been ranked by the EWG as having a low risk of 1. BUT there are reports circulating on the internet that warn against usage of the preservative even in cosmetics. We believe it is still one of the safer preservatives, but as always, we wanted you to be in the loop. The choice is yours to make.

This is the most gentle shampoo ever, like washing my hair with mousse. I have used it for two weeks and my eczema is is not as itchy and my skin is much more moisturise.

I love this product, It is the only shampoo I now use, it smells great and leaves hair clean with no residue. I have found all of the Treemendus products to be excellent!

I used this at various times but found after using it for a few washes it would be too drying and leave my soft fine hair a straw-like texture. My mom finished this and it left her hair clean and shiny with volume. Leaves an amazing smell!!

Just not working for me. I've been using it for almost a month but my head is still itchy, and the shampoo just doesn't work for my hair. I was really hoping this would be the perfect product for my irritated scalp.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this product! I have an allergic reaction on my scalp every time I use any other shampoo, I have used many many others , from natural, to sulphate free , I have tried everything! This is the only shampoo I can use, that heals up the reaction, my husband absolutely loves this shampoo too, he asks me to Get it every time we run out. Cleans brilliantly, my hair is in the oily side, so it doesn’t dry easily, priced well too.
